Site visit to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Skizofrenia Malaysia in Petaling Jaya.

After receiving their donation letter, Corp culture made their visit to the site to find out the real situation without delay. Upon arriving there, the residence home turned  charity home  is located among the residential area in Petaling Jaya Old Town.
Baring their slogan of “ A home for the Depressed, Emotionally and Mentally Ill”, this charity home is now residing some 20 patients, most of them in the mid age of 30 and above.
The charity home is now run by Mr Ng, who has been a very kind hearted volunteer here. He is now running this facility with his pension fund without some support from his family members and the society. Having registered with Malaysian Government, RM10/day/patient is now their subsidies from government, which are all spent mainly on their daily food and beverage.
Wonder how  the patients ended up here in the charity home? Each of them has different story to tell, ranging from ex- drug addicts, to naturally borne mentally ill in poor family. Sad story is, some family members refuse to accept their member even if they are almost recovered, fearing them to fall ill at any given time.

Ok, let’s cut the story short. This is YET, another mission for us all UTARIANS to stay as a BIG family to give out our best efforts in helping these fellas.
Our company will go on and sponsor what was asked and we as Utarians too, shall play our best in contributing. The lists of needed items are as below:
1)      ANY old clothes that you don’t wear anymore.
2)      ANY old furniture you have at home that you would want to dispose.
3)      Daily consumptions food stuff like cooking oil, salt and sugar, etc etc.
4)      Recreation items such as Carrom, table tennis table, etc.
For those of you who have anything as listed above, please drop your email to heeha@ehutara.com or steven@ehutara.com
They will compile all we can get, and send them over at once.
No worries if your old closet or dining table being too big to bring over, EHTLS will send out their small truck to pick it up from your house upon timing  arrangement.
Again, WITHOUT obligation, let’s see what we can do! Kudos to ALL Utarians!

Beginning 2011, EH Utara took a new step in ensuring our social responsibilities.

Beginning 2011, EH Utara took a new step in ensuring our social responsibilities. From every container that we handle in Utara, an allocation of RM5 will go to our Utara’s Charity Fund, which will then be our annual budget in helping those less fortunate.

The first activity was to Pokok Sena Old folks home during the recent Chinese New Year. It was great to see them elderly feeling the sense of belonging when we were there. Although the trip lasted for less then 3 hours, well, that’s the least that we can do.

For all the Utarians, activities will be coming your way that needs your good participation and make sure as Utarians, you give youe best!

Let’s make 2011 a better year for ‘Them’ and for us.

Ai Eim and Cherry were given the assignment before Chinese New Year and they put a great effort in making it happen on the 7th Feb 2011. Although Mr Chua and Mr Chia looked rather busy with New year wishes call on the mobile phone..

Chinese New Year mood

The past few weeks was quite stressful however interesting as we are required to make sure that all our jobs are completed in order as the Chinese New Year in around the corner.

As normal, during festival like this, shipments arrangements will be extra ordinary as shippers may plan their shipment to catch vessel before the holiday and importers may want their shipments in the premises urgently before the holiday to avoid extra cost.

The followings are some of the scenario that we wish to share with viewers where the forwarding staffs are tied up with their works to ensure shipments being cleared as per customer’s request.

As viewers can see, the staffs are concentrating to settle their jobs. Nor, as you can see is trying to chase container for customer and Michelle was so tired settling her job.

Shipment STEPS and CPTM was a lot and cause huge changes on the routine workflows. Extra monitoring are required and staff have to work long hours for the arrangement. (pm: But me? I stay at home la. Hehehe… Joking Joking. Come on la… Who took the pics maaa.)

From this page onwards, I don’t want to talk too formal lah. My head is so tired just by even to think how and what to do this slides. Anyhow, I wish to congrats all the forwarding, haulage and essential Team for giving their good supports daily to make sure all the tasks are settled. I’m proud to say that we completed all jobs with any necessity of incurring extra cost or un-necessary charges. Thank you my friends.
